DEX/CEX
* SWAP LV2 KERNEL:
Swaps between CEX and DEX LV2 Kernel. This option will only work if your Target ID is set to DEX
* REWRITE TARGET ID IN FLASH:
This option requires you have a valid NOR/NAND dump named correctly on dev_usb000. Use EXPORT FLASH TO FILE function to dump your NOR/NAND to dev_usb000 and then use c2d.exe to convert your dump to DEX.
Rename your original CEX dump to CEX-FLASH.EID0.NORBIN (16mb) or CEX-FLASH.EID0.NANDBIN (239mb or 256mb)
Rename your converted DEX dump to DEX-FLASH.EID0.NORBIN (16mb) or DEX-FLASH.EID0.NANDBIN (239mb or 256mb)
Once you have prepared your NOR/NAND dumps place them on a USB device and connect it to dev_usb000.
Now that you have your valid dumps named properly and connected to dev_usb000 it is a simple as selecting the option and following the onscreen prompts. Takes less than 10secs once you have your dumps prepared.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
QA SUPPORT
QA is supported in all REBUG REX EDITIONS but at this point in time we are unable to set the QA Token from GameOS on 3.55+ firmware.
It is good practice to enable QA in 3.55 before updating to any CFW not just REBUG.
OTHEROS++ SUPPORT
OtherOS++ is supported by all REBUG REX EDITIONS and will detect your existing OtherOS HDD partition.
However none of the REBUG REX EDITIONS have emer_init.self patched (create smaller GameOS partition). We are working on a solution to this from GameOS.
In the meantime if you do want to create an OtherOS partition you have two options:
1: Use a 3.55 firmware that already has emer_init.self patched to the size you want.
2: Patch REBUG 3.55.3 REX EDITION in PS3MFW Builder
If you choose option 2 we highly recommend that you ONLY patch emer_init.self. Also the resulting PUP will only be able to be installed on 3.55 firmware as the spkg_hdr will be mismatched.
One final thing to note about OtherOS on 4.21.1 is that it function is slightly reduced at the moment due to the fact that we are not able to map memory like in 3.55 and below. The affected modules are ps3ram and ps3sbmmio.
Hopefully this problem can be addressed without having to release another firmware.

PS3 Spoofer Tools contains PSN Enablers/Disablers for each PS3 CFW out there. Check it out inside!
PS3 Spoofer Tools contains PSN Enablers/Disablers for each PS3 CFW out there. Check it out inside!
Jul 15, 2011 Spanish PS3 hacker Matercrack, has released a tool which allows devs to pack and unpack devvflash files to a PUP. To quote (translated): This is a script used to unpack and pack the PUP devflash the team using tools fail0verflow, kakaroto geohot and, although modified a. Place the pup file from the e3 downgrade tools in the normal PS3/UPDATE usb folder and follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall the firmware then install devblind.pkg & Blackb0x FTP from install packages run devblind then BlackB0x and FTP into the console goto /devblind delete everything and replace them with the customised devflash.
That's right, here goes another PSN Spoofer, this time by nathanr3269.

PS3 Spoofer Tools v5.5 is a PSN Enabler/Disabler with versions compatible for each firmware. nathanr3269 also added a new tool called fix_psn.exe.
Here's the official info:
Following up on the PS3ITA, PSN / SEN Enabler & Disabler and my previous release of spoofer PKG tools and Spoofer (9.99), I upgraded them to one PKG for each CFW for enable or disable PSN / SEN access (both functions in one).
It also includes a GUI for enabling PSN / SEN so if something is wrong it will restore your PS3 files preventing a RSOD on the PlayStation 3 console.
ALLOW SEN ACCESS - INSTALL ONLY PKG FOR YOUR CFW
Spoofer Tool for PC is updated too, the actual version is 5.5, with a new tool called fix_psn.exe
PS3 Spoofer Tools v5.5 (Only for Cygwin/Linux)
Now you can fix necessary files yourself with fix_psn.exe
The new options in fix_psn.exe are:
- files: Fix single files (use extractor.exe or copy your dev_flash files in 'Files' folder) *
- pkg: Fix your files and build a PKG
- pup_files: Extract PUP files, fix and re-build PUP file fixed
*: You must copy manually to your PS3 with this option
For example, for fix files only put your vsh.self and version.txt in 'Files' folder and call it in the console Cygwin/Linux (Remember navigate to folder in Cygwin/Linux console)
SEN Enabler & Disabler [4.20]
This enable (4.20) or disable SEN access for your CFW, simply install *ONLY THE PKG FOR YOUR CFW* (CFW Kmeaw = PKG for Kmeaw) and run it in XMB, you will see the menu, first if you wish to continue choose 'Yes' or if you wish exit to XMB choose 'No'.
If you continue program will ask you if you want enable fix, and for disable in this screen choose 'No' and you will be able to disable fix. At the moment of enabling fix, it will create a backup of your dev_flash files to restore and prevent RSOD
